One of the greatest abilities we have as sentient beings is the skill to experience and express not just singular lines of reasoning, nor one and only one style of life, and so, not merely transfix ourselves in one perspective option at a time, forever enshrined in a chosen or happenstantial guise.  We have the truly amazing ability to absorb plural visions of existence in multitudes of impressions, and cultured linguistics, and myriads of thought patterns.  We mentally swim, fly and cavort in expressive alternative environmental essenses, transcribing and translating instantaneously the nuances, beliefs and realities of such wondrous diversities that, even as we experience and revel in the individuality of each unique structuring of thought and process, we brook no restrictions to visting where and when and as we please ... once we have opened our minds to gather what existence offers.

Some amongst us are fortunate enough to have taken full exhilarating advantage of the opportunity.  I - - regretably do not count myself as one.  But  I have had the good fortune to be in some of their company and have been warmed by the glow of their lives.  That companionship has extended from - seeing the production of an artwork,  reading text or mentations, hearing vibrational luxury and verve and solemnitude, to the more obvious pleasure of sharing physical presence and communicative immediacy.   John Mikes is one such person in my life, whose absolute intense joy and mirth makes 7 languages his playground, out-witting scientific peers and friends alike with every utterance and key- stroke (a true Cyrano de Bergerac).  And of late I've become aquainted with Giorgio de Santillana and Hertha von Dechend through their writings, and Tony Judge - the succinct poet laureate of social dynamics.  There are others too, scattered through world and time, of all ages and genders (left unmentioned here) who are engraved in my life regardless.

And now there comes one more.  A gentle, enduring, thoughtman who thoughout his long life has created renditions of value, meaning, and substance that reverberate like seminal guiding tones that mezmerize adepts and simple open hearts alike.  "I have seen the world, through languages and acts scattered like air rich with the seed of season.  Here, see through my mindeye how good (in the midst of severity) how sweet (in the midst of acid tang) how abundant (safe promised even in the midst of dearth) how freshening new (even while death consumes) how fortunate - to reap the endless harvest of feelings and thoughts we are - as we live life and glory in reflected glory - existence all full-in and around."     These are not his words directly.   They are the majestic voice he has silently conveyed to me.  And so I render that essense to you.

Starting now, in the summer of 1998, I will begin building an exhibition site - pale at first, building as the years advance hopefully - to share with you a life ... a human who is of  Planet Earth rather than of one culture/country.  A life which appreciates all the possibilities and fragrances of  exchange ... the vast yet easy expressive realities and deeds which our "one" species is capable of.
