The key here is that the line "C" represents not just a hypotenuse, but the fixed diameter of a circle, determined by all right triangles which short legs meet at a right angle.  That assemblage of loci forms a circle, a pure internally reflexive waveform.  The generative "point" is either endpoint of the fixed hypotenuse.  It is a resident member of the one-dimension stringline, and also of the perimeter of the circle.

"k" is the logical equivalent of the "excluded middle" and the shown equation is the topological confluence of one-dimensional and two dimensional factors.

Extending this logic indicates that a point-locus (of exponent zero) must be considered fully "dimensional", to participate in this exposition and make the entire architecture consistent.  That being one of several proposals here, this explicitly means that any function written in terms of 'n' dimensions, actually operates as a function in 'n+1' dimensions, so to include the 'zero-th' dimension-state.  Eg, a formula whose highest exponent value is 4, is actually a formula in 5-dimensions (0,1,2,3,4).

This is a very atypical notion, but worthy of development.  Especially since there are some chemical and astrophysical formulae which trace regularities that track the inclusion of this 'added dimension"   {(4n+2), (2n+1)} .

The above relationships take us along several different threads.
